I’ve always considered I was empathetic and sensitive to the situation of Australias’ First Nations people. After the last two days I’ve come to realise I was only aware of a small part of the picture. You’ve really opened my eyes. Over the decades I’ve been working I’ve done a lot of professional and personal development programs. This is the best by far. It’s hard to believe I had to wait till I got to 65 for this to happen. The information and the stories were out there – I just never went looking, or came across story tellers as good as you two!
I hope I will be able to do justice to the effort you have put into developing and presenting such a brilliant program. I will try to the best of my ability to participate in activities, and advocate for change, wherever possible.
They were a couple of overwhelming, but I believe ultimately empowering, sessions.”
