Libby Lesock is also a member of the Tiiamanno Consultants team. As a non-Indigenous person Libby brings a wealth of experience from her work with Aboriginal communities across Victoria over 20 years. Libby is well respected in the Aboriginal Community and her engaging approach has seen her work closely in the development of Aboriginal programs and policy, Community events and forums; and key stakeholder engagement. Libby was instrumental in bringing Elders from across 6 Aboriginal Communities in the Southwest together with key Government spokespeople, and also in the development of the Colac Aboriginal Gathering Place. Libby has a sound understanding of First Nations Cultures, and strong rapport with local Aboriginal Communities and brings a non-Indigenous perspective to the work of Tiiamanno Consultants, providing context for organisations and individuals who have limited experience working with Aboriginal people.
Libby holds a Master of Social Work and was awarded the 2018 Social Worker of the Year. Libby is currently also working in the Aboriginal Health unit at Barwon Health Geelong in Aboriginal Policy and Projects.
